Privacy Policy
Crazzy Ludo is operated by an individual developer. In this Privacy Policy, references to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to that operator. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the Crazzy Ludo mobile application (the “App”) and the crazzyludo.com marketing site. The public website does not offer an email waitlist. Downloads and updates are handled through Google Play, which is governed by Google’s policies when you use that service. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information we collect
1.1 You provide
- In-app display name — if you create or edit a player profile or join online play, we process the name you choose so matches and lobbies can show it.
- Custom sound files — if you use features that let you pick audio from your device (for example custom sound effects), those files are read only when you select them; we do not scan your full media library.
1.2 Automatically from your device
- Guest authentication — online and server-backed features use Firebase anonymous sign-in. Firebase assigns a guest user identifier used to authenticate requests to our game servers.
- Anonymous installation ID — a random ID generated and stored on the device is sent to our servers and to Google (Firebase) for analytics, crash reporting, push notification registration, and diagnostics. It is not your real name.
- Push notification token — if you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging provides a device token that we register with our servers so we can send retention or feature notifications. You can deny notification permission in your device settings.
- App settings and local progress — preferences, tutorial flags, cached stats, and similar data may be stored locally on your device (for example via platform storage APIs).
- Diagnostics and usage — when Firebase is enabled, we collect analytics events (such as app opens, match lifecycle events, and ad delivery events), crash reports, performance traces, and related technical data (device model, OS version, app version).
- Gameplay logs (optional) — for a limited set of installs enabled through remote configuration, compressed gameplay log files may be uploaded to Firebase Storage for debugging. Logs are stored under the anonymous installation ID, not your real name unless you chose a display name that identifies you.
- In-app economy and progression — when you use rewards, coins, gems, levels, or daily login features, we process and sync related progress with our servers so your balance and rewards stay consistent across sessions.
- Device and advertising identifiers — Google AdMob and its ad partners (including mediation networks) may collect device or advertising identifiers to serve and measure in-app ads. Firebase Analytics may also use the Android advertising ID as described in Google’s documentation. You can limit or reset the advertising ID in Android system settings (Google → Ads).
1.3 Our game servers
When you use online or server-backed features, we process data needed to run those features: for example your display name, guest authentication tokens, private room codes, match state, in-app economy balances, aggregated stats, and push registration data. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the App and game modes (including AI, local play, team play, and online play).
- To authenticate guest sessions and associate gameplay with your session as needed for multiplayer and stats.
- To deliver push notifications when you have granted permission.
- To deliver remote configuration (for example feature flags) through Firebase Remote Config.
- To measure engagement, diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and fix bugs through Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring.
- To display in-app advertisements (rewarded and interstitial ads) and measure ad delivery through Google AdMob and its mediation partners.
- To manage in-app rewards, coins, gems, levels, and related progression features.
- To comply with law or protect rights and safety where required.
3. Third-party services
The App uses services operated by third parties, including:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC) — Firebase Authentication (anonymous guest sign-in), Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase App Check, and Firebase Storage. See Firebase Privacy and Security and Google Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob (Google LLC) — serves in-app advertisements and may share device or advertising identifiers with ad partners. See Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob & user data.
- AppLovin (AppLovin Corp.) — may serve or fill ads through AdMob mediation and receive device or advertising identifiers for ad delivery and measurement. See AppLovin Privacy Policy.
- Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — may serve or fill ads through AdMob mediation and receive device or advertising identifiers for ad delivery and measurement. See Meta Privacy Policy.
- Google Play (Google LLC) — installs, updates, and account-related services are processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and Google Play terms.
We do not sell your personal information. The App is free to play and contains ads.
4. Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Server-side and cloud retention periods depend on our backend and Firebase project settings. Local data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear app data, subject to your device settings.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is rated for ages 3+ on Google Play and is intended for a general audience, including children and families. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use of the App where required by local law.
The App contains advertisements served through Google AdMob and its mediation partners. Rewarded ads are optional and never required to continue playing. Interstitial ads may appear between matches. Ad content and personalization are controlled by Google and its ad partners according to their policies and your device settings.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law (including COPPA where it applies). If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete it where required.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can stop most data collection by uninstalling the App or revoking permissions (such as notifications) in your device settings.
- Uninstalling or clearing app data removes locally stored profile, settings, and progress on your device. Server-side data may remain until removed through our backend retention settings.
- On Android, you can limit or reset the advertising ID in system settings (Google → Ads).
- Rewarded ads are optional. Interstitial ads may appear between matches but are not required to access core gameplay.
- For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].
7. International transfers
If you are outside the country where our servers or Google’s services are located, your information may be processed in other countries. We rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
